چکیده

Introduction: The natural process of aging has an impact on people’s quality life. skin is among the body parts that age fastest and affected by both endogenous external influences. Therefore, it necessary to study capacity various extracts protect against aging. This aimed evaluate protective effects Boesenbergia pandurata extract (BPE) UVB-induced in a murine model. Methods: maceration was used isolate BPE, its stability assessed using liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS). Balb/C mice were treated with doses BPE (50 mg/kg, 100 150 mg/kg) after being exposed UVB at rate 300 mJ/cm2 establish photoaging skin’s appearance tissue cell morphology evaluated hematoxylin eosin (H&E) staining Masson’s trichrome staining, respectively. Results: results showed treatment groups did not exhibit any major signs aging, such as wrinkles, dryness, or roughness, whereas UVB-exposed group did. Due cleavage collagen fibers, revealed lack connective UVB-only group; additionally, H&E abnormalities cellular structure tissue. On other hand, groups’ outcomes consistent comparable those control according results. Conclusion: Overall, our findings show especially dose 50 can successfully from providing potential strategy for development anti-aging products.

Derinat Protects Skin against Ultraviolet-B (UVB)-Induced Cellular Damage.

Ultraviolet-B (UVB) is one of the most cytotoxic and mutagenic stresses that contribute to skin damage and aging through increasing intracellular Ca(2+) and reactive oxygen species (ROS). Derinat (sodium deoxyribonucleate) has been utilized as an immunomodulator for the treatment of ROS-associated diseases in clinics. However, the molecular mechanism by which Derinat protects skin cells from UV...
